Recently, The Guardian interviewed a group of Trump voters on why they decided to vote for him and whether they approved of his work so far.
Apparently, the main reason that many stated for voting for Trump was something that’s been reiterated thousands of times. People didn’t trust Hillary Clinton. Additionally, their mistrust for the opposing candidate ran so deep that no amount or Russian collusion was going to make them regret this decision.
Jack Artley, 43, a machine operator at the Biospectra pharmaceuticals plant in Bangor said “I don’t know what all was done. No matter how it comes out, even if it comes out that there was some shady business going on there, I’d rather Trump [be] in there than Clinton. So, whether he had to cheat or not to get in, I’m OK with that.:
Furthermore, not only would people be okay with our president and Russian officials working together to undermine our elections.
John Picard, a carpenter, on the topic of the alleged Russian meddling in the elections said, “If they did, I’m actually glad they did. I feel that you shouldn’t bother somebody else’s country. But the idea that they got all this information and they let it slip out – I’m happy if that’s true. We got some real good documents on some people who were really messed up, so why not?”
Numerous supporters of Trump were interviewed expressing their frustrations and doubts over his abilities. However, remarkably, they still think that Clinton would have been much more corrupt than Trump. This includes colluding with a foreign government to steal the White Houe. And all of their remarks also echo Trump’s tactics.
And all of their remarks also echo Trump’s tactics. Whenever things get fiery, Trump always resorts to attacking his previous opponent, Clinton. These people’s remarks are a clear indication that his entire base has been brainwashed with his ridiculousness.
