Mike Pence, the Vice President has denied the claims that a New York Times reported that he was already planning a presidential bid for 2020. Especially if Trump doesn’t seek reelection.
Pence also said, “The American people know that I could not be more honored to be working side by side with a president who is making America great again.”
He also added, “Today’s article in The New York Times is disgraceful and offensive to me, my family, and our entire team.”
This is why, on Monday evening, Jimmy Kimmel shared a campaign ad that he prepared for the Vice President. The ad demonstrates exactly how much Pence didn’t want to become the commander-in-chief.
In the clip, the narrator states facts about Vice President Pence. “Mike Pence is a dedicated public servant, with the vision and passion to lead this country. Not that he wants to.”
The narrator continues. “Mike Pence has the kind of foreign policy experience to keep America safe if he wanted to do that, which he doesn’t. President Mike Pence would always fight for you, but he’s not president, and has no plans to be one. Mike Pence 2020, the year he won’t be running for president.”
